The Countdown Begins

I thought it appropriate to update you on the community given the anniversary just reached. Last week marked two months until the New Zealand YouTube Gathering, which is sure to be the gossip event of the year. That’s not to say that the past month has been drama free… Au contraire the past thirty days have been anything but dry in the world of NZ YouTube, so allow me to update you on the juiciest bits…

A double announcement in Gathering attendees hit last week with news that Irish YouTuber Stephen (3sixty5days) and English YouTuber Charlie (charlieskies) have decided to make the trip to New Zealand. Almost as soon as the dust settled from this announcement rumours began to fly about reasons for this trip. It is common knowledge that Patrick (patrickblog) has fallen deeply in like with Ireland’s Hottest TV Personality. Problem is Patick has a boyfriend, while Stephen and Charlie have made it clear they have feelings for each other. What other reason would Charlie have to come to NZ if not to keep an eye on his Irish boytoy? What remains to be seen is whether the Brit gets his boy back or Patrick feels the luck of the Irish.

More from the Gathering and it turns out Australian comic YouTuber Chris (chrisontv88) will no longer be attending, as was previously announced. Little is known about the reasons for his true change of heart, but I’m betting it has something to do with the rumoured ‘Australian Blacklist’ campaign the NZYT community has against Australian YouTubers ever since the Wellington Fiasco this past summer. I’m sure you can dig something more up, email me.

Self-proclaimed ‘Queen of NZYT’ Jess (jessums31) has allegedly had trouble organising sleeping arrangements for the visiting Tubers, with Denise (neechers), James (tehdancingkiwi), Corey (storycorey), Juno (junoluvsu), Simon (simonparasite) and Cameron (englishcameron) all staying over. Sounds like a slumber party I’d like to be at. Turns out James and Corey don’t like being lovers scorned by Patrick waving his new school-aged boyfriend in front of them. Something tells me there’s going to be a lot of avoidence going on when it comes to these three. As for Juno, things have changed since the last time she was in the city. I also have a feeling she will be avoiding Ben (bennysoup)’s house for the length of her trip. Word on the street is J got left outside alone when Ben flipped and bailed on the romance that was public knowledge. Bad form, BennySoup… you know how karma’s a bitch? We hear a Juno scorned can be too. Watch out.

In keeping with news from the Gathering it seems the wheels are in motion for what will prove to be a memorable day, and an even more memorable night in the NZYT world… Rumour has it that after party plans are already well in the works, with this guest list being exclusively a who’s who of the NZYT scene. Getting your name on this list would be like getting the YT Editor to feature a video you sent in, it just doesn’t happen. Plus, no event could come more packed with potential drama than this one. After everything that has come to light in this post, I’m sensing a late night battle royale for affections come July 11.

Finally we will get to see what happens when the cameras come down and the claws come out.

Todays Gossip session will be a short one.

Emails of recent have introduced a new topic to me that I was quite unaware of.

Besides lesbianism, a recurring theme of emails is Cody (davanti).

Last week Cody streamed live on blogtv from his friend Baz (kaabaz)’s house, with another friend. Baz is well known on YouTube for his lack of commitment and has made a few close enemies.

The trio recreated Jesus’ last supper, with wine and bread, and then proceeded to chat with the small audience.

However, much to Cody’s disarray, Baz and Mike began leaking secrets about this YouTuber.

Cody has supposedly raped many small animals, including Mice, Cats and
Giraffes. And in case he moves onto humans, his school in Invercargill have taken special measures to make sure he does not touch anyone under the age of thirteen.

Also, three very interesting points:

• When he was 11, a fat, ugly girl sucked him off.

• He hates black people.

• Baz has a purple dildo.

These are quotes from Cody’s blogtv, straight from the mouth of Baz.

Also on the topic of Cody, rumour has it that his less-than-secret relationship with American YouTuber Vivien (feellinecancer) has passed the point of no return, and ended rather abruptly. Gossipers, lend me your eyes and ears, and find out all you can.

Hello readers. I haven’t posted in a while, I apologise for this. Gossip has been slow, except for this story I received the other day.

Rumour has it that Stephen (3sixty5days) has slowly forged a place in the NZYT community, first finding his way into the heart of the self-appointed “queen” of NZYT, Jess (Jessums31).

Sources tell me, however, that Stephen has moved on to resident gay vlogger Patrick (Patrickblog). Constant tweeting at each other, and questionable DailyBooth threads have lead members of the community to believe that there is more than just a “friendship” blooming there.

Sources also reveal that Stephen has already booked flights to come to New Zealand in the december holidays, while he is in Australia. Will this lead to a foreign booty call with Patrickblog? Time will tell.

In other scandalous news, it seems things between Jade (marshmallowjade) & Asad (tiktoxic) are only escalating, after constant Twitters back & forth.

Jade and Asad have even given each other pet names (“Dr No” & “Happy Flower”). This can only give us a small glimpse into their love affair. Maybe there’s some sort  of role playing going on behind closed doors? Apparently Jade is quite ‘energetic’.

And lastly today, it seems that Jay (overwelmingodds) has plans to take over New Zealand.

Photos posted on Jay’s DailyBooth account show him meeting with former Prime Minister Helen Clark, who he calls “one of [his] biggest idols”, and current Labour Party leader Phil Goff. Does this mean we could soon have a YouTuber running New Zealand? What plans for NZ does Jay have in store? Let’s see what happens.

Relations.

It appears that Lesbianism is quite a popular topic for Gossip. My last blog got quite alot of positive feedback from you all, and I thank you, because without you there would be no Gossip.

Relationships seem to be the only kind of worthwhile Gossip at the moment, but I can assure you, other stories are opening up to me, and I am waiting in the shadows while they develop.

Now on to this evening’s post.

Abundance Of Soulmates

It looks as if relationships in Auckland have a way of intertwining with one another.

Jade (marshmallowjade)’s ability to have any boy fall to her feet has again failed to disappoint. Last week she met Tenani (nanisnap) for lunch, where they were alone.

Both of them tweeted about their meetup, with Tenani even taking twitpic photo’s:

Could the fear that is being shown in this picture be an excuse for the two lovebirds to cuddle up together?

Once again, what is this going to do to all the other relationships Jade seems to be a part of?

Lesbian Lovers

More information has been brought to light about the relationship between Jess (jessums31) and Denise (neechers). The girls seem quite keen to take their love public, especially after a post made on Denise’s Blog:

“We talked a lot last night.
I mean A LOT.
You’re becoming one of my best friends.
I like that.
I can tell you anything.
I like that as well.
You’re one person I really don’t want to lose.
And I mean it when I say that.

Could this be about Jess?

And whilst writing this blog, it has been brought to my attention that the love between Jess and Denise may in fact be unrequited, and that Jess may not feel the way Denise does, as shown by these twitter comments (read from the bottom up):

Neechums31?

Rumours have spread like wildfire around the supposed relationship between Jess (jessums31) and Denise (neechers). However, during the past week, the rumours have turned into fact.

Denise is one of the definite attenders of the NZYTgathering, to be held later this year. In fact, Tenani (nanisnap) and Jess created the gathering because Denise was coming. The truth about Denise’s choice to travel to NZ is for a fling with Jess.

Denise and Jess’s attraction towards each other is evident in two main websites: Twitter and (the new YTer hyped site) Dailybooth.

Earlier today, Jess and Denise started a thread on Jess’s Dailybooth. The thread is quite lenient towards… well… SEX. Jess’s boobs and Denise’s boobs both make guest appearances. View the thread here.

Also today, Jess and Denise created a joint Dailybooth account, DeniseAndJess. The idea is like a collab channel on YT; they will each take a photo on alternate days.

Note the sidebar on the collab Dailybooth. Does this not prove the love between these two FEF’s?

And what confusion does this raise in the “love square?” Will Dylan (icerfish) be left all on his lonesome? Does he already suspect this fate?

As shown in this reply to Ben, apparently Dylan will try his hardest to hold onto someone, but it looks as though any chance of things happening with Jess is slipping through his fingers…

And when seeing  Dylan getting close with Jade, Jess (jessums31) storms off, but why?

The theory of a relationship was almost proven, when Jess and Dylan return in a happier mood, and proceed to take photos together, a sure sign of something going on:

I apologize for the time frame between posts, and I beg your forgiveness. I prefer to wait until I have a sufficient amount of Gossip before I make a post.

FAIL

As I assume most of you know, the notorious nzytpaparazzi has collapsed under all the hate and closed down their channel. Plenty of NZYTers have come to their conclusions of the culprit behind the blog, the most notable being Patrickblog, who voiced his own opinions over twitpic.

As the truth comes out, I – unlike others – will always be there to document it.

Jade has asadface?

It appears that the most popular subject from my last post was that of marshmallowjade and tiktoxic, more commonly known as Jade and Asad.

These two “lovebugs” have been blatantly getting it on around Auckland and in the presence of other Auckland YTers.

Last week, the group (and one gwynn255, more on that later) headed out for some fun in Auckland. Jade and Asad’s blossoming relationship was captured on camera.

Auckland YTers, you may as well just pressure the two into coming out publicly, as it is blatantly obvious there is an attraction.

Also on the topic of budding relationships, rumour has it corporalcadet (Levi) and bennysoup (Ben) have not separated yet since they moved into their flat. Could there be more to this?

Travel’s from Austria

For the month of February, Austrian YTer Christina travelled to NZ. The place had been her home during the course of 2006/2007. Christina started her journey where she spent her last stay – in Invercargill. She stayed with one of her closest friends from her previous trip, davanti (Cody).

Christina spent a fortnight staying with Cody, and after an apparent tearful farewell, she headed for Wellington, where she stayed with simonPARASITE (Simon) and hung out with junoluvsu (Juno).

Next she journeyed to her final destination, Auckland, where she hung out with nanisnap (Tenani), jessums31 (Jess), Patrick, Asad, Jade, and others.

Christina is now back in Austria, and she intends to get back to NZ for the gathering, fingers crossed.

Gossip Copy?

We all have our own opinions. And it appears that one NZYTer has taken it upon themselves to deliver what they believe to be “the JUICY GOSSIP… Where all the dark truth comes out.”

However, what NZYTpaparazzi has posted is a more blatant, and distasteful version of my post.

NZYTers have commented their own opinions, all in the similar mindset of “this entry makes me sick!” and “who ever you are you are sick.”

In the world of Gossip one must learn that there is a difference between manipulating viewer opinion and throwing blatant facts on a page.

Let the war begin.

Valentines In NZYTland

As the day of love dawned upon New Zealand, the Auckland YouTube group decided to share the love around, by heading out to My Bloody Valentine in 3D.

Aucklanders’ Jessums31, Nanisnap, LewisBostock, StoryCorey, Patrickblog and MarshmallowJade shared their Valentines first at the cinema, then with the absence of Lewis, the other six headed to Jade’s house, where they spent their night playing singstar.

Corey, with Tenani at his side, belted out notable High School Musical tunes from Jade’s PS2. As we are well aware, Corey – with many videos to back it up – wants to be exactly like Zac Efron. As the above photo shows, his obsession has reached a new peak.

As the night went on, Tenani and Jade sang the HSM3 duet “Can I Have This Dance.” Jade appears to have some kind of giggly crush on Tenani, looking at him more than she looks at the words to the song, while Tenani is singing his heart out to Jade. Could there be a new romance afoot in NZYTland?

“Subscribe to Lewis Bostock” day

On the 18th of February, Lewis Bostock celebrated his 21st birthday. The NZYTcommunity (plus many other notable Tuber’s) created short videos telling their subscription base to subscribe to Lewis Bostock.

Happy Birthday Lewis!

On the 22nd of February, Lewis gathered the Auckland YT community together for a celebration of his adulthood. Tenani, Jess, Wizardneedsfoodbadly, Jade, Asad, a picture of Lukejtharries and a rarity in NZYT: Thatenglishgirl111, headed out to a Club to party the night away.

Jade appears to be getting her flirt on with Asad – since her arrival into the community late last year she appears to be making her way around the males of NZYT. Who will be her next target?

To create an unfavourable impression, it is not necessary that certain things should be true, but that they have been said.

Welcome, once again.

I take it upon myself to deliver Gossip to you in a relatively constant fashion.

It’s gonna be a night to remember

As numerous stories and scandals leak through the walls of the Wellington backpackers, the common phrase that seemed to be mentioned was “sexual preferences”.

Ryan (thenewzealandishbrit) found himself a little too straight on the eve of the Wellington meet up.

The three more lenient Youtubers, Patrick (patrickblog), Corey (storycorey) and James (tehdancingkiwi), attempted to lure Ryan to the other side, but to no success.

However, Ryan’s sexual preference did nothing to prevent Patrick, Corey and James from having a very good time. As seen in these photos, they got down and dirty in their bedroom.

Rumour has it that later on in the meetup, Patrick, Corey and Joe (joediscourse) engaged in a bit of “night time fondling”, much to the disgust of other notable NZYTers who were present.

The NZYTcommunity have recently “shunned” Rob (halfscottishguy), for his behaviour during the Wellington 09 Meetup. Many participants of the gathering (more about that on a later date) have had a go at him and a few have even resorted to blocking him on various social networking devices.

Rob has since apologized to those involved, and has unsurprisingly recieved a less-than-joyous response.
